Studies On Iris Recognition Algorithm Based On The Biomimetic Pattern Recognition

Biometric recognition technology bands the information technology and biometric technology together, which is one of the most potential technologies and have very wide applications. Among all the biometric technologies, iris recognition not only has uniqueness and stability but also has non-invasiveness, thus it is a very promising biometric recognition method.In this paper, we firstly introduced the advantage of the iris recognition, the structure of iris, the biometric feature of iris, the development and the application foreground of iris. Then, the theories of iris recognition are described.
