The Analysis And Designing Of Physical Distribution System On Port Based On GIS

At present, Logistics industry has become an important part of the socio-economic development. The success of a modern logistics enterprise depends on the efficient cooperation in the logistics links of the enterprises that participate in a supply chain, and such cooperation is based on Information Technology. In fact IT has been widely applied in the logistics industry, but GIS technology applications in the logistics industry is a relatively new topic.The thesis analyzed the logistics and its distribution needs, introduced GIS technology into the logistics industry, and built a new logistics GIS system. Further, the router's planning of distribution vehicles and the query between spatial data and attribute data had been discussed.The thesis put forward designing methods of logistics GIS system, summarized the main problems in the system designing and the key techniques to solve them. These methods or techniques have been tested in a harbor logistics case. The case has used GIS system as its frame and implement to second development based on Map X. This case, which combines the space location and attribute data, has the advantages at easy operating, visualization and easy to understand.
