As the dynamic load balancing is the crucial technology in the Network Computing, how to improve the performance of dynamic load balancing is one of the focus areas to its researchers. For the Internet users and the net flow follow the geometric series increase, it requires that J2EE Application servers should have high scalability and high availability. It is the purpose of this paper to find some way to solve these problems.Firstly, the paper introduces the Cluster technology, Load balancing technology and EJB component. Secondly, the paper analyzes the architecture of EJB Container Clustering, studying the existed design methods of EJB Cluster and their Load balancing policy. Upon their shortages of design methods and load policy, we offer a new design method of EJB Cluster System by the Proxy, and the pattern which effectively combines the load prediction with load balancing algorithm. Thirdly, the paper presents a dynamic load balancing algorithm based on the back propagation neural network. Then compared to traditional static algorithms of EJB load balancing, the neural network algorithm produced higher performance in the test cases. At last, the paper draws a conclusion of EJB Cluster System research and design, putting the further work in the future.The main contribution of the paper is to explore the Cluster technology of EJB Container,such as Load balancing technology,the architecture of EJB Container Clustering , load balancing algorithm based on BP neural network,etc.It is worthwhile that these technologies are helpful to the developers in the homogeneous cluster field.
