Adaptive fuzzy control is a research field which is composed of the theory of fuzzy control and adaptive control. Adaptive fuzzy control has recently attracted increasing attention from control circles, because the system of adaptive fuzzy control can not only improve system performance by modifying itself rules but also has quick convergence speed and robust.In this paper, we analyzed and studied the performance of its control methods to the different systems by the state measurability and the different models. With convergence degree, error, stability, and engineering application feasibility, we compared these adaptive fuzzy controllers.Simulation of the control system is an important part for control system design and analysis. With the development of computer and information technology, the research of simulation technology is improving. On the base of comparing all kinds of adaptive fuzzy control methods, we designed the simulation software of adaptive fuzzy control which base in Matlab. By modularization designing, we carried out the basic controller algorithm, programmed the interface design and the system software files. We illustrated the data application by examples. In the system simulation, the control result is ideal in the complex nonlinear system. We carried out the adaptive fuzzy control simulation software in the base of Matlab. It's applicable in the common control simulation teaching and the real engineering. It's valuable to the application of system simulation technology.
