The laser gyroscope is an optical sensor which is based on the effect of Sagnac. It is the ideal device of new inertial navigation system and widely used in the areas of navigation, land guidance, position finding, carrier rocket and guide missile. But because of the various of errors in laser gyroscope developing it's precision is restricted. Thereinto, bias is one of the three errors of laser gyroscope. The effect of temperature on the laser gyroscope becomes the main factor of occurring bias. The main features are randomness and instability. Therefore, when the laser gyroscopes work with high precision, it is important to adopt the measures of temperature compensation to achieve the necessary stability and reduce the effect of temperature on precision of laser gyroscope. With the method develop the precision of laser gyroscope.The effect of temperature on laser gyroscope is a complex process. For building complete temperature compensation, it is need to synthetically calculate the actuating mechanism, control system and mathematics model from the point of the system to achieve the ideal effect. The paper analyses the effect of changing temperature on zero bias of laser gyroscope by introducing the working principles of laser gyroscope and features of zero bias, deeply researching the effect of temperature changing on bias of laser gyroscope, and brings forward the method of temperature compensation for zero bias from the three angles such as constituent structure of laser gyroscope, control system and mathematic compensation model. Directing the problems such as in the interior actuating mechanism, the Langmuir current in the discharge of direct current can cause zero bias, and the instability of whipping frequency of kicker, asymmetry of whipping amplitude, the effect of temperature change on kicker can also bring zero bias. While the circumference controller is in the condition of extension and compression, it occurs deviation axial lead, which causes zero bias. These biases can be controlled by developing exterior control current and fabrication technology of laser gyroscope. But when the methods reach the maximum level, they can't get the best result and will increase the cost. In the paper the author voluminously lists the advantages and methods of online compensation and builds the mathematics model of temperature compensation for bias by adopting a lot of experiment data of relation between temperature and bias of gyroscope.After compensating temperature, the change tendency of gyroscope's absolute...
