Research Of Time Management Service In HLA/RTI And Implementation Of Optimistic Time Advancing Mechanism

Time management service is the critical technology in HLA/RTI. The implementation of time advancing mechanism according to HLA is also a problem in modeling and simulation area.This paper studies how to set the value of Lookahead in different simulations and how to realize the modification of Lookahead in RTI. It also studies the meaning of zero Lookahead and the difference of different HLA services to use zero Lookahead.This paper also studies former algorithms of LBTS, analyzes the shortage of Frederich algorithm and studies the rules of deadlock.This paper analyzes present RTI architecture, proposes the architecture we use and explains why we use it and its advantages.This paper analyzes and compares the two differences between optimistic advancing mechanisms in PDES and HLA.According to the RTI architecture of our lab, this paper proposes a solution of realizing the optimistic advancing mechanism and describes the key data structures, algorithms and interfaces of it.
