The paper discusses the array signal adaptive spacial processing of phased array radar. Much work is done mainly in two aspects—one is the array calibration and the other is the blind sources separation and blind beamforming. As we know, many algorithms for array calibration at present need to know some preknowledge of the calibrating sources, which limits their application to the practice. So in this paper a new array calibration algorithm that has no shortcomings referred before is presented. And a new blind source separation (BSS) method for several overdetermined sources is also presented. It has high convergence rate and great robust. The whole paper is made of five chapters. Chapter 1 introduces some basic knowledge about the array calibration and the blind sources separation and beam-forming, including the research background, meaning, development situation and the presented problems. Chapter 2 discusses digital beamforming (DBF) of phased array radar and the amplitude and phase errors. Some research about the array calibration is done in chapter 3, and a new calibration procedure for HF radar is also presented. The method proposed here can use the combinations of single-mode, multimode, time- invariant DOA and time-varying sources with known or unknown DOA's, which makes the array calibration more flexible and more convenient. Chapter 4 makes some researches on signal adaptive processing, mainly about application of adaptive jam canceller in radar receiving system. Chapter 5 is mainly about a prevalent subject in adaptive signal processing—blind sources separation and blind beamforming. And though research a new blind source separation method for several overdetermined sources is presented. The number of signals is detected by using singular value decomposition (SVD). And the array input is transformed into the signal subspace to decrease the dimensions. Then these sources can be separated one by one though Logarithm-Kurtosis...
