For the advantage of high transmission speed, great system storage, excellent multipath immunity capacity, limit power wastage and low cost, Ultra-wideband(UWB) technology has became a hotspot gradually in wireless communication research and was considered a key technology of next wireless communication generation.This dissertation has been on studying the reaearch of UWB indoor channel model. According to the characterization, author presents some new indoor channel model and analyze and simulate the whole indoor modeling in existence and compare with the data of measurement. At the same time, according to the characterization of UWB indoor light of sight(LOS), author design a new UWB indoor LOS channel model.The results of study and main idea in the paper are given as follows:(1) Studying and researching the characteration of the whole UWB, the result indicate S-V model can acquit the UWB multipath speciality.(2) Author simulate several UWB indoor model in existence and give the advantage and disadvantage of all model. The simulation result indicate S-V model and IEEE 802.15.3a can better incarnate the NLOS channel environment on the hand of the average time delay, the RMS and the amount of multipath, but the performance of indoor LOS channel environment was deficiency.(3) Suggest a model based on the S-V model, the channel impulse has two cluster, the mutipath has randam arrival probability,the model differentiate between the strong power and the infirmness power. The model can forecast the indoor LOS environment in the small scale channel model.
