With the constant development of audio technology, as increasingly widespread application of it, image processing technology in the interactive network games, electronic commerce and video-based content retrieval and many other fields have been increasingly wide application. Being the focus and difficulties of image processing technology, image segmentation is the basis for information technology organizations and reprocessing, and becoming the achievement of automatic identification and understanding of the images essential process, therefor the division algorithm for image research is of great significance.In this paper, the conception and classification of image segmentation technology are first introduced, and then, the key point, the advantages and disadvantages of different methods are proposed. With the models of video series, the motion-changed regions testing theory are introduced. After the discussion and analysis of regional growth, regional separatism and regional integration-separatism three major region-based segmentation algorithms, this paper suggests an approach for image segmentation by combining region based on tree-branches growing method. The analytical and experimental result shows good results of segmentation. Finally, the evaluation system of image segmentation algorithms is proposed. The existing problems and the improvement orientation were also discussed. |
