Wavelet Transform And Its Application In HPLC Signal Processing

Wavelet Transform is a theory in the past decade .It has received success in Image Processing, Telecommunication and Geophysics. Wavelet Packet Transform is a generation of Wavelet Transform. In this thesis, we mainly did some research and application work with wavelet and wavelet packet. The work comprises of two parts.In the first part, the evaluated method of compressibility has been presented when applying wavelet compression to liquid of chromatographic signal. The method of controlling reconstructed RMSD can obtain the compression ration under the condition of given reconstructed RMSD. Then the choice of wavelet functions that hold best compressibility has been researched, The results indicated that Biorthogonal wavelets hold the best general compressibility.Wavelet Transform, which is suitable to process the practical signals in analytical instrumental analysis , was based on the algorithm of the Multi-Resolution Analysis. And application of the method to the resolution of the overlapping multicomponent was investigated. This method ability in resolving overlapping analytical signals, The liquid of chromatographic signal remains in the resolved results, which ensure the results can be used for quantitative determination.
