Batch process fault diagnose with Petri net is a comparatively active research field at present. This paper deeply researched the fault diagnose problem in batch industry process by hybrid Petri net and fuzzy expert system theory. Beyond the theory research, based on the object of a sulfuration accelerant M produce process experiment set, established a simulation system of batch process fault diagnose based on the fuzzy timed Petri net. And then carry through a lot of fault diagnose system experiments, validated the methods of modeling and simulation.In the first part, introduced the timed Petri net and fuzzy reasoning Petri net theory, and simulated some industry process based on Matlab. Introduced the Petri net simulation tool VisObjNet, and illustrated the modeling and simulation measures. In the second part, presented the fault diagnose system structure under the Petri net theory and the TPN model of batch timed operating. Expatiated the transmitting and the reasoning model of the batch process fault diagnose, and simulated some practice examples. Discussed the basic frame of the expert system, came out a batch process fault diagnose expert system model witch based on hybrid fuzzy Petri net.
