Research On Control Theory Based On Variable Structure Control Strategy For Flight Simulator

Flight simulator plays an important role in hardware-in-the-loop simulation, and a high-quality simulator is critical in developing a high-performance aircraft. Flight simulator is very important to the aeronautics and astronautics industry. So, the study of advanced control methods for flight simulator's system is of great social and economical benefit. In this paper, taking theWH20S flight simulator as research object, application of variable structure control for flight simulator is discussed.First, based of researching the flight simulator's control system, and the problems in the flight simulator's low-speed performance, continuous time variable structure control is researched. Then, the paper analyses the non-linear factors'effect especially the friction factor's effect to the flight simulator. And the LuGre friction model is researched. Then, this paper designs the association regulator with PID and variable structure control. In the foundation of simulation, the paper applies the association regulator in the WH20S control system, and achieves well performance.The present flight simulator's control system is composed of software, so the study of discrete time variable structure control is necessary. In the foundation of researching traditional discrete variable structure control, two improved methods are discussed. Then, the paper studies the fuzzy-sliding mode control, and does much simulation work. At last, aiming at the WH20S flight simulator, the paper designs the discrete variable structure controller. And the result proves that the variable structure control can enhance the flight simulator's performance.
