Migration method is widely used in domain of seismic data processing. In this paper, the migration method is applied to GPR data processing and the velocity parameter is estimated based on the minimum entropy method. Experimental results of simulation and GPR data prove its feasibility and validity. There are four main parts in this paper: (1)Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method is discussed briefly and two absorbing boundary conditions are studied. The GPR data is generated with this method; (2)The GPR images are handled with four migration methods and the results show that the resolution of GPR images can be enhanced; (3)Velocity parameter is estimated with minimum entropy method combined with the migration and the modulation and GPR data prove its validity; (4)Amplitude processing andτ-p transform are applied to GPR data and we present the effect of removing thedirect wave with the τ-p transform. The algorithms in this paper are proved bymodulation and GPR data and the advantages and disadvantages of them arediscussed. Some valuable conclusions are put forward.
