Radome is a device used to protect antenna from the influence of environment. It is required to reduce the influence to the performance of an antenna to the minimum while providing a fit range to keep the character of structure, temperature or aerodynamics.This paper aims at resolving engineering small radome used in arecraft or such as mission. Due to the limitations of conventional ray tracing method in practical antenna-radome system computation and design, this dissertation focus on the more flexible and efficient ways in antenna-radome system analysis and therefore uses the Plane Wave Spectrum-Surface Integration Method(PWS-SI). Based dispersed Fourier Transformation (DFT), a fast method is proved to advance the PWS-SI which can fast and accurate on a certain range evaluate a small radome like a mission used.To deal with complex engineering radome's structure, the antenna anlysis and radome anlysis with field powerd by antenna are treated seperately. Through the data link to some software like HFSS, PWS-SI can compute arbitral complex antenna-randome problems.There is another standout point is the extreme using AUTO CAD Object ARX technology to deal randome's figures, and using OpenGL to display the 3D structure of randome. In the end, all those integrate to a platform generated from the Visual C 6.0. Then a standard horn antenna in a hemisphere radome with three layer structure applications is discussed in this paper, which is a kind of small antenna and not fit for the conventional ray tracing method. This technique is presented to calculate the far field around the antenna using the formula according to the former theoretical result.
