In order to make sure the power lines working safely, improve the reliability of the power supply system and reduce the malfunction of the power lines, it is necessary and important to keep inspection for the power lines. With the evolution of the science and technology worldwide, the inspection of power lines is also developed very much, but at the same time it faces new problems. One side, GPS (Global Position Systems) and GIS (Geographical Information Systems) become the direction of the new generation of mobile technology; on the other side, the traditional manual inspection has some problems like human-factor, inconvenient management, etc, and the recent inspection system with intellectually auto-recognition technology still has many limitations. With the analysis of circumstance and development of national and domestic power lines inspection, it is proposed a more convenient and efficient inspection method to implement the inspection system of power lines ,integrated GPS, ComGIS and embedded systems technologies. With the implementation of this system, the inspector can record the inspect information in a fast, formal, efficient and accurate way. This system could manage the inspect information, guarantee the arrival of the inspector, improve the quality of the inspection, and regulate the working procedures; it also has real-time process for flaw eliminating and reduces the fault of the power lines in order to keep them running safely.Based on the system requirement analysis of the use case model, this paper designs the logic structure of the system, and the function modules on the basis of system function requirement. This paper also makes detailed design for each functional module with the system definition of the design target. According to...
