Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) is a new-type network which involves sensor technology, embedded computing technology, distributed information technology and wireless communication technology. WSN can monitor, apperceive and collect all kinds of information about environment and monitored things in the network-distributed field. It can get detailed and accurate information after gathering original information, then transmit it to user. It is international-focused and its element is various wireless sensor node.In the thesis, we study emphatically how to design and implement high-precision and low-noise sound sensor node. There is tow main function for a node: (1) gather and process information. It can gather and process various environment information (sound, humidity, temperature, vibration etc.). In this system, what we will implement is sound gathering and how to improve the precision, low the noise and reduce electric consume and so on. (2) wireless transfer. As a node in the wireless sensor network, the sensor node play a role as router and transmit information from other nodes. The information which we transmit to user is the result of sound recognition and a piece of sound, so the quality of gathered sound has the effective on the result of sound recognition. We introduce emphatically sound sensor node's high-precision, low-noise, low electric consume and low-distortion.Sensor node is the base of sensor network, it is actually a embedded system. In the system, Hardware: embedded micro-processor-ARM9 S3C2410, wireless communication module CC1000, sound gathering module-Microphone(WM62A) and high-precision , low-noise and low-power CODEC UDA1380. Software: program all kinds of driver and application programmer in the Linux environment.In this article, first, we theoretically research the wireless sensor network and wireless sensor node, second, we design and implement the hardware and software of wireless communication module.
