Design And Implementation Of Academic Virtual Reference System

Academic Virtual Reference Service System is a rising digital library operation. As the documentation and information center of university, the library of university plays an important role in teaching and research work of the university. Therefore, Academic Virtual Service Reference System as the network extension of teaching and research work of university library also plays a very important role.This system takes enhancing the practicality of reference service and the accuracy of information obtaining as the fundamental starting point, analyzes and discusses the experts scheduling mode especially for academic reference service system, put forward an experts scheduling mode based on AHP method, and validates its consistency. This paper introduces enquiry guide to solve the lack of traditional reference services system. By using Chinese text segmentation in the enquiry guide, the system makes enquiring and searching work together perfectly, and reduces the probability of repeating enquiry. And it can also avoid careless omission in the process of inter-discipline enquiry.The paper first introduces the conception related to reference services and the research actuality of domestic and international. Then introduces and analyzes related technologies. Makes detailed system requirements, compartmentalizes and describes the functional modules, and presents the database structure of this system. And combines with the relevant technology, gives the detailed design and realization of the key part of the modules. Finally, summarizes on academic reference service system and gives some conceive for system's further improving.
