In digital communication system, the intersymbol interference which is caused channel non-ideal feature is an important factor affecting communication quality. It is added the equalizer which is compensated channel characteristic and recover transmitted sequence before receiver in order to overcoming intersymbol interference. Traditional adaptive equalizer needs to transmitting training sequence, so influencing communication efficiency. But Blind equalization is a newly technique for adapting an equalizer without the need of training sequence, only utilizes the statistical character information of input signals to equalize the channel character. With the researching of blind equalization, it has been used in many fields such as communication system, radar system, earthquake and image processing system and so on. So it is very important for instructing both the theory and the applications. The major contribution of this paper is summarized as follow(1) It is expounded the fundamental principle of blind equalization algorithm and analyzed its basic algorithm especially Newton gradient LMS algorithm.(2 ) The basic theory of signal detection is studied in this paper. It is analyzed Bayesian, minimum error probability, maximum a posterior, and...
