In recent years, several last mile high-speed technologies have been Explored to provide Internet access and multimedia services to users.For fixed Broadband Wireless Access(BWA) systems, a new protocol, called IEEE 802.16 was developed and published in April 2002. The standard defines the air interface for wireless metropolitan area networks(MAN).In another way, The appearance of MEMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) is one of important ways for resolving the scarcity of resource. It has proved that MTMO system has more capacity than single antenna, we can not only improve the transmitting rate of system but also increase the information redundancy to mend the system reliability by the high capacity of MIMO, spatial multiplexing scheme can advance transmitting rate and space time coding can improve reliability. This makes it become one of the research focus last years.In this dissertation ,firstly,we will depict the 802.16a MAC layer and PHY layer in second chapter.And present the channel models for 802.16a and simulation of it in the third chapter.Secondly,we depict the...
