With the rapid development of the electronic technology, the electronic equipments become more prevalent in the various fields. But in many fields, there is common problem which undesired signal, and power line interference is a major problem. There are many conventional methods for canceling the power line interference. But they are not completely good. As a new tool, partial coherence show great potential in many applications.In this paper, we propose a new method to remove power interference with the partial coherence theory. The partial coherence function is introduced and its relationship with the power spectrum intensity is established. Then, we study two method of estimating sinusoidal interference's frequency and phase to recover power interferences, which are correlation estimation and cyclic statistics. Considering that the power line interference and harmonic interference and the signal are independent each other, this method can be used to solve the problem of removal of interference. A calculated program is worked out. The experiment results show that the method is quite efficient and leads to no signal distortion. Compared with other methods, partial coherence is promising alternative method in the removing power line interference.
