The Application And Research Of Roughsets In Intrusion Detection System

The DataMining is one of the most front research area in Data-Base and Decision-making support system.Rough Sets is a important method in DataMining. Intrusion detection system is a initiative defending system which analyse information collected from internet or computer system.It can determine whether there is attack action in these information.At present, IDS(Intrusion detection system) is a important part in information safe research.This document focus on the application of rough sets in IDS.Based on the research on data sets from the Internet and the research on the rough sets,we analyse the performance of some reduction algorithem,bring forward some shortage and propose a new algorithem.Mass experienment indicates our new algorithem is efficient in handling the data from the standard sets.
