The Research Of Traffic Peccancy Processing Using Image Processing Technology

With the developing of economy and the prosperity of the cities, we need more advanced systems administering urban transportation. In China, it is necessary to monitor traffic peccancy employing the intelligent transportation system. In this paper, we develop traffic prccancy processing system based on image recognition. This system can recognize the vehicles passing through in the red light, the vehicles stopping in the place where parking is not allowed , the vehicles crossing over the double yellow lines and reversing in the driveway.In the paper, we research in common use algorithm. In video image pre-processing, We employ mean filter and morphological edge detection. In traffic peccancy detection and algorithm of background updating, we employ the vehicle detection technique based on morphological edge detection and background difference. At last, we introduced the traffic peccancy processing system realization project.
