Design And Implementation Of Network Resource Management System

With the rapid expansion of the network scale and the increasingly boost of network complexity, it's a very important to build up network resource management system including a series of functions such as collecting resource information, resource information process, resource coherence checking and building up resource database. This paper focus on resource management combined with the project of 'system management and network management'. The implementation and design of network resource management system is circumfused with a lot of work.First, after researching a variety of system architectures, especially the architecture of 'IMN' Integrated Network Managemegt, the paper design a architecture of distributed network resource management system based on dependencies according to the function of network resource management. The paper includes network devices tier, network element tier, network management tier and system management tier.Secondly, to collect exactly and roundly resource information, we design and implement three methodes including MIB resource information collecting,expect method and other method.Expect method is able to collect resource information not collected by SNMP Get and Set, so the application of network resource management system is enlarged. Implementation of the three methodes is the core of network element server.Besides, network server, network element server, the interface between network server and network element server and resource database are designed.Finally,resource dependencies of NRMS are gone deep into research.After analysing all kinds of references related to network resource dependencies, we present new characteristics on dependencies to describe exactly dependencies and present complex dependencies presentation which combines simple dependencies presentation and dependencies characteristic. After researching deeply the analysis technology of dynamic dependencies including active dependencies analysis method and mining active data method, We study deeply and improve. Implementation of resource dependencies analysis and system principle are discussed.As a part of the research project of 'system management and network management', network resource management subsystem was checked and accepted by the experts in Nov, 2005. According to the result of the test and check, the experts confirmed that the architechure is scalable, and the technology of auto collection of network resource information and the method of resource dependencies analysis are very innovative.
