With the development and application of the Internet, more and moreequipments are needed to connect with network for achieving long-distance controland sharing resource. Embedded systems are used more widely, for small profile, lowprice and high performance. The technology of embedded network systems is themain trend of future application.Embedded network systems should response to the requirements from local andnetwork equipments rapidly. Therefore, it is an efficient method to deal withmultitasks by embedding a RTOS into the hardware system. The RTOS can divideprogram into many tasks with different importance respectively and allocate CPUtime and system resource for each task. μC/OS-Ⅱis a kind of RTOS whose sourcecode is open and small. It also has virtues of being easy to be cut down, repotted andsolidified. So, researches on technology of embedded network communication basedon μC/OS-Ⅱare studied in this paper.First, the background for technology of embedded network communication isintroduced in this paper, as well as the conception and development of embeddedsystem,RTOS and technology of embedded network.Second, the protocol of network communication and standard of field bus areexpounded, as well as hardware structure of embedded network communicationsystems and correlative chips. After that, the transplant of μC/OS-Ⅱon enhanced 8051compatible microcontroller P87C52 is described in detail.Third, the software design method for embedded network communicationsystems is described in detail. The system can implement TCP/IP, by which it cancommunicate through Ethernet;furthermore, it can communicate with localequipments according to RS232 and I~2C standard. Therefore, local equipments mayconnect with Internet through it;at the same time, other host computers in the Internetcan control local equipments through it.Finally, the testing result of this system is presented.
