The technology of water pump testing is very important to the research and development of pump basic theory, the improvement of pump performance and the designing methods of pump. So the research of automatic test system of pump comprehensive parameters has drawn much attention in industries. At present, domestic test system of pump comprehensive parameter has shortcomings of lower control precision, poorer real-time and reliability. Many pump test system is still traditionally semi-automated, measuring spaces of it scatters, all measurement signals have no integrative management, and the software is not easy to operate. Comparing with foreign countries' technology, it is relatively backward.Aiming at this situation, do much research and analysis in pump testing theories and methods, and according to its specific demands, we put forward a new automatic test system of pump comprehensive parameters, which combines the technologies such as computer, sensor, data acquiring, intelligent control and field bus, and it achieves the functions such as testing of the pump parameters, performance experiment, steam erosion experiment, data preservation, data transmission and data curve fitting. Some important and difficult problems of carrying out are discussed such as data acquisition and processing, curve fitting, control algorithm, database development and communication. To ensure the stability and the reliability of the system, the effective anti-jam measures about the hardware and software are adopted.In this paper, we research on the flux control in depth which is the key question in the pump automatic test system. The flux control system has the characteristics of nonlinearity, time-variation, and uncertainty. Because the fuzzy control dose not require to build the controlled object's precise math model and the PID control has very high precision, we put forward a kind of PID parameter fuzzy self-adjusting algorithm, which combines the PID control and the fuzzy control. The experiment results show that the algorithm has the characteristics of smaller overshoot, better stability and faster response rate. It can overcome the difficulties that in tradition the flux control completely depended on the operator's experiences, expended more time and energy, and the testing results were not very accurate.After trail-producing the sample machine, we do experiments on many pumps, and the results prove that the test system has better stability and reliability, higher test efficiency and automatization level, and more convenient management andmaintenance. It has stronger performance in economy and technology.
