Computer vision's great trick is extracting descriptions of the world from pictures or sequences of pictures. This is unequivocally useful.Gesture is a kind of natural and direct mode of communication in everyday life. As human becomes the more and more central part in human-computer interaction, the research on gesture recognition becomes a focus in this field.Gesture recognition provides the user a means to interact in suppositional environment, which is a kind of human-computer interaction techniques most expected. However, gesture has the characters of multi-mode, multi-meaning and has discrepancy under certain time and space situation;moreover, human hands are complicated transformed objects and there is visual instability, all of which make gesture recognition based on sight become a challengeable multi-subject research goal. The main thesis of the work is real-time gesture recognition to identify soccer robot navigation in the application, so the paper is to study the ideas presented sign identification in theory and technology have both related research, and then from the lower image processing and middle image processing briefed on the sign identifying the image format and images of the basic technical operations, image acquisition and processing. Next on the whole autonomous robots outlined in the final part of the article uses a multi mathematical algorithms for mobile expectations for real-time tracking of hand, experiments showed that this algorithm is a good robustness and real-time, to meet the immediate manpower literacy in soccer robot navigation requirements, but each algorithm is more or less the existence of some shortcomings, The algorithm is the same. With these shortcomings will be the development of technology and knowledge widen gradually decrease.
