The Design And Implementation Of Intrusion Detection Resource Monitoring System Based On Web

With the development of the computer technology and network technology, more and more commercial application provides us all kinds of information services, such as science, education, business, history, law, art, and entertainment, etc. There has been frequently access for Web server to people. There has been more and more quantity of data for access of Web server. With the popular of Web Server, frequency of attacks on Web services and resulting damage continue to grow as Web services become popular.Host resources on the Web Server include the files, ports, address and so on. Aiming at existing signature-based intrusion detections which are inadequate in providing reasonable degree of Web Server security, we analyze Web attacks based on the root causes and the locations where attacks occurs, therefore a Web IDS model is developed. The host resource monitor for Web server is the core of this model. We discuss the design and implementation of intrusion detection resource monitor system based on Web in detail. Finally, the system performance is analyzed by the test of validity.
