People attach high importance to the concrete durability and obtain plenteous results in recent years. But the research method over emphasized the application of experience model and the use of traditional data processing manner. With the technical development of information, intelligence and computer, concrete durability research based on these technologies has important realistic meaning.Launching on the acquisition of concrete durability research, from concrete carbonization to corrosion of concrete-embeded rebar, from corrosion of concrete-embeded rebar to concrete cover cracks due to corrosion expansion, from corrosion of concrete-embeded rebar to deterioration and resistance of the structural properties of corrosive RC members, from load analysis of existing structures to Dynamic probability, one by one in order presents the assessing method and prediction model.This article developed Concrete Durability Prediction and Estimate System by exercising software engineering principles basing on Visual C++6.0. The Concrete Durability Prediction and Estimate System which provide a visualization tool for concrete durability analysis has good customer interface, modularity and independency, it is valuable and worthy of further concern.The main contents are as follows:1. Summarize the concrete durability's background, research contents and research situation;point out the necessity and feasibility to develop the Concrete Durability Prediction and Estimate System.2. discuss the prediction and estimate of concrete durability under normal air environment, the corresponding assessing method and prediction model are presented.3. exercising software engineering principles, it is provided the development of Concrete Durability Prediction and Estimate System. After the requirements analysis, develop the models of Concrete Durability Prediction and Estimate System are as following: logging in, prediction of the carbonation depth, prediction of corrosion of the concrete-embeded rebar, bearing capacity estimate of corrosive RC members, analysis of the probability of existing structures, system management. Meanwhile, data flow chart of the system is demonstrated.4. implement the Concrete Durability Prediction and Estimate System based on Visual C++6.0.It provide a visualization tool for concrete durability analysis.
