In this paper we mainly discuss the concept of embedded system, the structure of arm (advanced risc machine) and its development, we point out the key role of network application playing in embedded system. According to actual requirement of development of embedded system and considering the cost of its construction, we adopt a non-business embedded operation system and implement an efficient network protocol architecture facing industry;at last we make some research on key technique in this paper. We use arm as a hardware platform of the entire system, adopt Philip lpc2210 chip as central process unit and plant embedded os UC/OS in this chip, this is the base of whole architecture. The process of planting mainly refers to the boot section which is written by c and assemble language. After the construction of system has been done, we implement the TCP/IP protocol stack system by referencing RFC documents and using Utility interfaces provided by operation system, this is the core part of the paper. At last, in order to test the stability and robust of the protocol stack system, we need to write a small application on this embedded system as a network server to communicate with pc client. In the implementation of whole system, we use c and assemble language as our main development tool. This paper mainly refers to two difficult techniques. They are planting of embedded os and implementation of TCP/IP protocol stack. The first one is the basis and platform of the whole system and the latter one is the basis of network communication.
