Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(InSAR) has been developed many years overseas, on the contrary, research on this technique has little achievement in our country owing to data absence.Comparing with the Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR), it has more difficulty for InSAR in data processing and has higher data accuracy. Many practical problems must be understood thoroughly by real data processing, so it is necessary for us to give a detailed investigation on the basic data processing approach of InSAR.The aim of this dissertation is to find out the emphases and difficulties in InSAR and to prepare for a further research through real data processing.According to the processing course of InSAR, firstly, we discuss the work principal of InSAR, and in the following chapters, SAR images coregistration, flat phase removing, interferogram creation, clutter suppression, phase unwrapping, etc, are investigated in detail sequently. On the basis of research achievements of formers and combining with our work, the author investigate a adaptive image coregistration and clutter suppression method in detail, and then presents a new method for InSAR phase unwrapping belonging to path following.
