This paper researched on Cooperation and Coordination of Multi-AgentSystem(MAS) mainly.MAS is The focus of researches of the Distributed Artificial Intelligence.Cooperation and Coordination is the key technologies in MAS. By cooperation andcoordination, the performance and the flexibility of MAS can be promoted. Based onthe study of the fundamental theory of MAS, the paper put an emphasis oncooperation and coordination of MAS, presented a kind of general MAS cooperationmodel, analyzed the model structure, and based on the model expatiated on thespontaneous cooperation process of MAS. To coordination, this paper studied GeneralPartial Global Planning (GPGP) and TAEMS, and by analyzing the shortcoming inGPGP, provided an improved way. Furthermore, a single Agent structure based onGPGP was designed for the general MAS cooperation model, and the process ofcoordination was discussed.In addition, the paper also researched Elevator Schedule Method by applyingcooperation and coordination of MAS. In this paper, elevator schedule was regardedas many elevator agents planned and decided a large number of Call by cooperationand coordination among them. Unlike elevator group control system, the schedulewas implemented by many elevator agents, and every agent is able to compute,reasonand decide. This paper designed the structure of single elevator agent and the multiagents , planning principle and coordination mechanism, and programmed thealgorithm. Finally, in computer, the program was simulated and compared with otherelevator schedule algorithms.
