Now Internet application modes are mainly B (browser) / S (server) or C (client) / S, which needs a server in the net center, while the server usually becomes a bottleneck of the system. One of P2P characteristics is to weaken the effect of servers even cancel then. Most of the existing network schoolteaching systems adopt C/S mode. They are inconvenient for communications between teachers and students, and traditional schoolteaching also has certain limitation. So a model based on P2P applied to instructional system was put forward to make the best use of resources in the client peers and to alleviate the burden of servers as well as to enhance ability and efficiency of the system. The paper took research on the topics that related to phylogeny and the basal models and so on about P2P, then a teaching model was put forward and also the idea of super peer and design for file sharing corresponds to it. Then the paper explained how the peers communicate with each other- piercing IP. Design and realization of instant communication and voice transmission were presented built upon Java platform. Finally, the paper summarized the work that had done and prospect the future of P2P.
