With the bus lines management system as the background, this thesis has suggested a mathematic model based on the number of passengers who get on and off the bus at different stops. As a result, by this model, the thesis has offered: 1) a better resolution to the traditional arrangement of bus schedule; 2) a quantity analysis of some relevant data (loading percentage, densities, daily income of a liner and rationality of stop distribution) and a relevant mathematic model, for optimum deployment of bus and appraisal of bus lines management.It is quite impossible to rely on a man to find a resolution to the model because it is concerned with a large quantity of data. Thus this thesis used the object-oriented technology to systematically analyze the bus schedule, and developed software for the bus lines schedule and its assessment, which offered a resolution to the bus lines schedule and the relevant model.The software "the bus line schedule and assessment system" is a practical one, which operates fast, efficiently and easy with a friendly Chinese interface. After it was applied into practice, the result shows that it is rationally reliable for evaluating the line .So it provides a better method for arrangement of a bus line schedule and its assessment.In the last part of the thesis, the author believes that in order to obtain more representive and applicable data. It is still worth discussing what method is used to investigate the flowering passengers who get on and off a bus at different stops for a better mathematic model.
