The Engineering Project Management has long cycle, enormous information and various data forms. The traditional management means can not meet the demand of the enterprise's moving toward projectization and informationization management. The Engineering Project Integrated Management System (EPIMS) mentioned in the paper realizes the centralized and optimized management of engineering project information, enterprise information sharing and enhances the decision's reasonability and scientificity of the policy-maker. B/S model EPIMS based on .NET framework, uses 3-tier software architecture. The analysis and design of the EPIMS insures the system's specification, reliability and modifiability (easy maintenance) by using some CASE tools, OOA&D approach and advanced design idea and design pattern. The system, safe and stable, has high capability of scalability and usability.The thesis consists of six chapters.Chapter one introduces the necessity of the research on the system and project background, analyzes the practical meanings of the Engineering Project Integrated Management System based on Web.Chapter two studies about .NET framework, discusses the architectural structure and working mechanism of .NET, and describes the related technologies of the distributed application based on web.Chapter three analyzes the general object and overall architecture of the EPIMS and the functions of apiece subsystem.Chapter four probes into the design principles of application based on web, points out the technologies and importance of the fundamental design of multi-tier architectures system using Browser/Server model, emphasizes the design idea of the EPIMS's presentation tier, business tier and data tier, illustrates the design of some representative module.Chapter five presents the key technologies of the EPIMS implementation. It explains a aid tool created by ourselves - auto build code program, accordant processing strategies to business tier. In addition, the paper displays the author's experiences in the rapid application development based on web, and our dealing with system security.Chapter six summarizes the paper, indicates some deficiencies of the current system, and gives out some suggestions.
