The Research Of CSCW Based On Web Services

CSCW is a new interdisciplinary support research field. It is the product of the up-to-date information technology and human society traditional collaborating ways.However, based on traditional distributed technologies(such as C0RBA,DC0M), CSCW have a common limitations. Each part of CSCW must has opposite structure. So, from the exploitation, application and maintenance to upgrade, CSCW system has a series of problems in the increasingly open environment.Based on analysis of collaboration support existing technologies, development tools and inadequate of system, this article puts forward a new idea to apply Web Services technology in CSCW system. Focusing on studying the solution to key issues such as three applications model and message Synchronization, this article provides a communications protocol and the system structure, and puts forward a CSCW application model based on Web Services technology, and makes a discussion of superiority of the model, solves the communication problem among isomerous CSCW system based different technologies, makes it more currenct, reduces the difficulties of exploitation and upgrading. At last, the article takes the collaboration graphic editing system under the model for the example, which shows the necessary for applying Web Services technology in CSCW, expands the development and applications of CSCW systems with the Web Services technologies.
