With the rapid development of wireless communication technology and the large-scale building of wireless network, carrier and equipment vendor are paying more attention to drive test technology. Drive test for wireless network has access to wireless network by the professional equipment. By using voice service, data service or Internet service and etc, it obtains signaling message and other parameters of network real-timely, which provides exact and credible information to benefit maintenance, optimization and debut of network.In order to obtain crucial statistical data of network performance, signaling synthesis technology is applied to analyze call event, such as Call Drop and Incall Success. The algorithm of event analyzing is inflexible in hardcode way in current software, thus network tester can not flexibly revise or even add new algorithm by themselves. This paper proposes an user-define event synthesis technology to meet the need of analyzing network performance, so it would be a valuable research subject of drive test.Taking CDMA2000, which is one of 3G cellular wireless communication technologiesm, as a background, this paper gives an introduction of its network structure, air interface protocol and mobile station.And also discusses drive test and the algorithm of call event analysis at length.Furthermore, the principle and technology of event synthesis are studied and analyzed in this paper. Firstly, the paper makes a dissertation on the nature of event and proposes two models for event analysis from two different points of analyzing view. Namely, Event State Machine Model with the characteristic of Condition_State and Event Trigger Process Model with the characteristic of Event_Condition. Secondly, the paper proposes two technical methods on the base of the two models. Namely, state judgement method based on State design pattern and trigger process judgement method based on Composite design pattern.According to the event synthesis methods proposed in the paper, two types of script are introduced and analyzed to help event synthesis to obtain the characteristics of flexibility, user-define and real-time. Lastly, the design ideas of event synthesis engine are presented as well as its architecture.Flexible user-define event synthesis technology takes account of the practicalsituation of drive test and have ability of applying to signaling analysis and supervision of diversified telecommunication system.
