With the rapid development of computer, network and communication, especially the popularization of the Internet, information security and copyright protection have been a key and attractive problem. Digital watermarking scheme has been a rising network information security technology. It provides a novel way for the protection of intellectual property rights. It becomes a hot spot in the research of multimedia data security, and hold wide application prospect in several domains.In this paper we mainly describe the technologies of robustness digital watermarking for copyright protection of digital image. We firstly introduced the research backgrounds, basic principle, application areas and recent development of the digital watermarking technology. We discussed the characteristics of existing watermarking algorithm, think over geometric distortion, the sensitive attack for many available digital watermarks of image, and two most important requirement of digital watermarking, hard to obtain a good balance between them, are the imperceptibility and robustness. We adopted some new technologies such as chaos, Singular Value Decomposition, Arnold transform scrambling, Wavelet transform, Independent Component Analysis, into the digital watermarking and proposed two kinds of watermarking schemes: watermarking of digital image base on SVD;watermarking base on FICA detect in wavelet transform.Due to the SVD characteristics analysis of image matrix, in this paper, a schemes that the chaos sequence is embedded into singular value coefficient (except three maximal) in SVD transform domain of sub-image, employed the stable characteristic of singular values, is proposed. The chaos sequence was applied in algorithms to increase its security and robustness. Experimental results show that the algorithm is imperceptibility and robust to signal processing operations, especially to geometric distortions.This paper briefly shows the development, basic principle and implementation of Independent Component Analysis (ICA). Following the above, we probe into a fast ICA algorithm-fast fixed-point algorithm. With the think and method of ICA, this paper put forward an approach utilizing FastICA to blind detect watermark, which embedded in lowest approximation coefficient decomposed by wavelet transform. Experiments include watermark embeding, extracting and verification simulated in MATLAB environments show good performance of this scheme.Finally, we make the summary of our works.
