One of main operation in aluminum electrolysis is aluminum liquid siphon. As the result of restrict of techniques in production, nowadays, plants of aluminum electrolysis take the methods that using one aluminum tank to acquire aluminum liquid of three or four electro bath, and count the total weight of the tank with manual operation. This operation bring much disadvantage in electrolysis management, for administers of plant couldn't acquire the real data of aluminum of one electro bath. So two main problems was taken out in the process of production, which are measuring the mass of aluminum in one bath accurately and controlling the precision exactly.To settle these two problems need not only mastery of aluminum and character of siphon operation and the equipment but also familiarity of technology of measurement and automation.The research task of mine base on the project "Accurate and Exact Aluminum Liquid Siphon System of Steelyard of Multi-functional Crane", and actualize the key parts of the project. The method of measurement was used based on the model of single pendulum and numeric filter. And Fuzzy Adaptive Control was applicant in the task to settle the automated siphon with analysis and research.First of all, the paper introduces the character of techniques of electro bath production and the liquid siphon operation. Then in chapter three, Accurate and Exact Aluminum Liquid Siphon System was introduced, with construct, function and realization. In chapter four, discussing the theory basis of fuzzy adaptive control, highlight on the single variable fuzzy adaptive system. The application of fuzzy adaptive control was descript in chapter five and some result of experiment was listed in chapter six. At last, conclusion of essay was made.The paper took thorough analysis and research of weight measurement and automation in siphon operation. And discussed the fuzzy adaptive control in aluminum siphon operation and get the result based on the velocity identification.
