Networked Control System (NCS), i.e. Network-based Control System, is a control system architecture in which all control system components are connected together to build feedback control loops by a real-time network.NCS which integrates computer, network, communication and automatic control, provides several advantage, has became more and more common used. But uncertain delays are inserted into NCS loop by the shared networking, brought in many problems as time delay problem. The thesis does some research works in the research on system performance, network induced delay compensation strategy, simulation and experiment of NCS. The main research work are as follows:First, NCS's background, concept, basic problems are introduced and a survey of NCS research work is given. Then proposes the main work the thesis done.Second, compares the performance of NCS in the two driven means: time-driven and event-driven. Analysis the theory and simulation results of the performance of NCS.Third, a neuron controller based strategy is presented to compensate the uncertain network-induced delays in networked control system. Due to its excellent ability of self-learning, the neuron controller can compensate the performance degradation caused by the uncertain delays. Simulation results in both cyclic service network and random access network show that the proposed strategy can obtain satisfactory NCS performance.At last, a experiment based on campus network is designed to verify the method. The results show the validity of network induced delay compensation strategy.
