The Water Environment Information Fusion Based On XML

The Multi-source Information Fusion (MSIF) means taking the measures coming from multi-sensors into synthesize, using the complementariness of the information to form an integrated description, with which the intelligent system's accuracy can be improved. The MSIF technology provides a powerful means for intellectualized information process.In this paper, the water environment monitoring and controlling system of Suzhou city is taken as background, the result improvement of Water Quality IF(WQIF) when it comes to the small data set is taken for aim, the D-S evidence theory and its application in small data set WQIF is studied. The main work is follows: First, XML is introduced to unify the data format of multi-source. Second, two methods are proposed to handle the data lost. Third, D-S evidence theory and its improved algorithms are studied;the concept of weights is introduced to modify the evidence theory. Fourth, to realize the small data set WQIF, a new fusion strategy is proposed.
