The Research Of Routers Congestion Control Technology Based On Active Queue Management

This article aimed to propose a new Active Queue Management (AQM) algorithm which can enhance the fairness in packets processing among heterogeneous flows for key equipments when the Worms or DDoS burst out in LSN as well as insure the network robustness and strongness by limiting the network resource misuse and improving the function of restraining misbelieving flows.Firstly, this article researched and analyzed the router's performance in backbone network under high bandwidth attack. Secondly, the scheme and performance of current classic AQM algorithms and IP congestion control algorithms were researched;At last, a new AQM algorithm was proposed based on research above.It has been proved that CCU can detect precisely misbelieving flows and restrain the passive influence imposed on router and improve the robustness of router under high bandwidth attacks compared with other AQM algorithms.
