According to the construction principle and the mechanism of MES, analysed theproduction characteristics of the Chemical Plant ,in this paper, I designed a real-timeproduction management system above the whole factory, which can acquire all of thedata from four DCS systems and help the manager on time watch the productionprocess, analyse, judge,and make a correct command.First of all, in this paper, the production management's operation in the chemicalplant and in the process manufacturing is analysed deeply. The problems of thetraditional production management and the requirements provided by the user arediscussed and analysed in detail. According to the characteristics, the productionmanagement system is designed, which realize the informatization of the enterprisefrom the simple automation.Next, when the software was designed , the advanced multilayered overheadconstruction was used, demonstrated the function, the service operation function andthe database function completely separate, avoiding of each other the coupling andthe influence, thus realizes the loose coupling and the good maintainability. This hasguaranteed the clear responsibility division as well as the maintainability andexpansibility. It was already proved the multilayered system was easier to upgradeand had more flexibility compared with the customer - server system that does nothave the business logic level.In the paper, for the material, the energy consumption, the quality test, the abstractcomputation model has been designed, which greatly reduced the reaction time, alsoreduced the waste of human resources. When the model was designed, we also fullyconsidered the versatility, thus development cycles will be effectively reduced whenthis software was applied in other chemical enterprise.Through researching in this project, we have provided a mature and effectivesolution for the chemical enterprise using MES, designed a set of general softwareframes system, it provide a powerful support for the chemical enterprise in theinternational competition strength to further and fast carry out this system in otherchemical enterprise, speed up the informatization of China's chemical industry,enhance the chemical enterprise information management efficiency, reduced theproduction cost.
