Adaptive digital beamforming(DBF) technique can greatly improve the capability of interference suppress. It's a key technique to improve target detective performance of modern radar.The realization of adaptive beamforming is presented in this dissertation. After introducing the theories about adaptive beamforming, the work can be summarized as follows:1. The implementation of beamforming module on space-time universal radar signal processor. Two algorithms, time-space adaptive (TSA) algorithm and multi-channel joint adaptive processing (M-CAP) algorithm, are presented in this dissertation. 3-channel joint adaptive processing (3-CAP) algorithm is realized in the module. Both of the hardware configuration and software flow of the system are given in the dissertation.2. A discussion about the design and implementation of parallel pipelined DBF on systolic array. Performance analysis and complexity are presented for this design. A new kind of double speed systolic array is advanced and applied for MVDR algorithm. The simulation results are presented to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the configuration proposed.Finally, the paper introduced flowchat of system design based on DSP. Mixed Programming and Optimization based on the most popular DSP ADSP-TS101S are described in detail.
