Dynamic Password Identification And Application

With a rapid progress of Internet technology, Electronic Commerce(EC), E-Government, Intranet and Internet Information Service have been extensively used. Therefore, a lot of important information and confidential data are stored in computer and network. Information security has become the focus of society because of the open, inter-connected and distributed properties of networks. Identity authentication plays an important role in protecting information from unauthorized access. Thus a strong identity authentication mechanism should be one of the key elements of information security.Firstly, with the introduction to various cryptography and authentication techniques that safeguard information security, this thesis describes identity authentication theories and their implementations. The analysis of several familiar identity authentication schemes is also given.Secondly, after discussing familiar password mechanisms and threats to them, this thesis analyzes some existing password identification schemes. By pointing out their disadvantages existed, this thesis gives an improved scheme.This thesis design a method of dynamic password identification based on the leading dynamic password identification technology in the world. It solves the problem of the optimization collocation among security, validity, in-phase grade and authetication efficiency of dynamic password. This thesis describe the basic idea and theory of the above dynamic password identification, and provide the frame and application scheme of AUTHENID dynamic password identification system.
