Using the theories and algorithms of image process to resolve the problems in industry and real life is a significative work. That is also the destination of image process. But nowadays, machine vision systems are rarely applied in factories. One of the reasons is the restriction of the algorithms or theories of image process.Detecting the assigned images is one of the most frequently tasks in factories. And detecting the assigned the straight lines is one of suck kind of problem. Generally speaking, Hough Transform is most frequently used to detect lines. But Hough Transform need a lot of time to calculate, which makes it rarely used in industrial field detection. So, how to increase the efficiency of the algorithm while keep its excellent performance is a important question. In this paper, this question is researched. After analyzing many of the line detecting algorithm, a new kind of detecting algorithm is proposed, and the classification machine is also studied. Experiment results show it does increase the efficiency prominently. And based on it, a new kind of machine vision system is designed to take the place of workers to automatically detecting the defects in tiles.The following are the major research work:First, a new kind of algorithm----Classified Hough Transform(CHT) isresearched and proposed to detecting lines. The algorithm is mainly based on the classification thought and the orderedly stochastic thought. Compared to traditional algorithms, it can save a lot time.Second, in order to resolve the problem of low efficiency in processing complex images, the classification machine is studied. And a new kind of classification machine is designed. And the experiment results show the CHT using the new classification machine also performs well in detecting lines incomplex images.Third, based on what are discussed above, a new kind of machine vision system used in factoried to automatically detect defects in tiles is designed.It can increase the efficiency of the pipelines and help to manage the manufacturing process in factoried.
