Design And Implementation Of Real-time Monitor System For Television Signal

Safe Broadcasting is considered to be the most important topic in the area of TV Broadcasting. Fighting with broadcasting errors and invalid intrusion is always the problem to the broadcasters. The method based on man-observing can do some help, but it can't fulfill all the requirements nowadays. So the high-tech is the only way to deal with those problems. The main research work in this paper includes monitoring the quality and contents of analog TV signals, and the design and implementation of the real-time multi-channel monitoring system. This essay will first describe the feature of automatic TV signal monitoring system and the history of automatic monitor technology. Then it will describe the idea and functions of design by system functions and system framework. Then it will research on three key technique in real-time monitoring and give the solutions: the connection and communicate between host computer and hardware equipment, the fault diagnosis of frozen-frame and black-frame, and long-distance data control. Finally, it will describe the system implementation and the test result. The test result shows that the system can implement the design functions and the main parameters can meet the demand.
