This paper introduces the design of a logic file system based on database which provides semantic access feature. Also it describes in details how to implement this file system based on 0racle9 iFS platform.This paper first brings forward the background and significance of this subject, followed by the comparison of the information Storage systems nowadays with concluding their characteristics. Then this paper investigates and analyses several semantic file systems and some related techniques, on the basis of which the paper determines the design plan of the file system, with the detailed implemention of the system module. Finally this paper gives some file system interface of this system, and uses Z-office document editor to validate the design of this system.The logic file system this paper introduced inherits the content attributes access merit of current semantic file system, and extend semantic access to sustain the access based on content attribute and the access based on content structure. It provides several applications based on content structure. The design of this file system emphasize the currency, the agility , the expansibility and the shareablity.
