With the steady development of the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) Market, the demand for LCD Driver IC grows, which stimulated the revenues of driver IC supplies this year. Under this situation, they ask for mature Driver IC manufacturing chain at the same time of placing quantities of PO to China. The service required is called"Turnkey flow". The local assembly house will meet great opportunities as well as the challenges. How to make quick reaction and keep prompt delivery will be main emphasis to the enterprise.The paper will focus on the CHIPMORE COF Turnkey flow based on the lean production theory. By using the value stream mapping, we analyze the current production status. Then we find out the waste in the process on inventory, transferring, wait and check by activity flowchart to take the improvement plan. First is to integrate the customer information and develop the continuous-flow in proper connection between CHIPMORE and company T. It will delete the repeated steps on receiving and releasing of CHIPMORE to save the cycle time. Secondly, we improve the Turnkey flow applied with the auto-system in SAP. Finally, we carry out the pull-way instead of push-way to arrange the production plan so as to well control the BUMP, CP, and Die-saw finish goods inventory. With the above actions, CHIPMORE optimize the total cycle time to keep the delivery and to enhance the productivity.
