The technique of dynamic meshes reconstruction has extending use background in the fields of virtual reality and visualization in scientific computing, has been used in military, entertainment, computer games, medical science, data visualization of science and engineering, and is one of the most important reserch directions in computer graphics.We first describes some classical algorithms of meshes reconstruction at home and abroad, evaluates the representions of surface and reconstruction methods and their benefits and shortcomings in this paper. Then we lead to our method that uses particle level set method and inviscid incompressibe Navier-Stokes equations.In this paper, we first analyze the particle level set method which is used to catch and reconstruct meshes. This method describes surface meshes with signed distance function, which is an implicit represention. This implicit method can flexibly deal with the complicated dynamic change and boolean operations of surface, such as compression and stretching, and can be used with straightforward data strcture to reduce the computational complexity. During the movement of grids, we use the information of particles to revise error in level set function, then we can keep abundant characteristic information in high-resolution area of the surface. Then we introduce the inviscid incompressibe Navier-Stokes equations which can reflect the movement of fluid, we use the velocity field to drive the surface to realize the movement of it, and at the same time, we can checkout the accuracy of the particle level set method. In the nonlinear advection process of the level set equation and the Navier-Stokes equations, we use the semi-lagrangian method, which is based on characteristic theory. This method can ensure the unconditional stability of the solution, so we can use larger time steps and advance the efficiency of the algorithm.Using the improved algorithms of dynamic meshes reconstruction, we have realized the simulation of the movement of fluid, which is influenced by complex forces including body foces, pressure, viscosity of the fluid inside and so on, and achieved ideal effect.
