All along, how to improve the success rate of projects has been of concern to all walks of life, therefore, project management has gradually become an independent management disciplines. However, the massive re-engineering is the ultimate tool to use to accomplish, and what tools can help management to improve the success rate of projects?In recent years, the data warehouse (Data Warehouse, referred to as: DW), OLAP (Online Analytical Processing, referred to as: OLAP) and data mining (Data Mining, referred to as: DM) have played the remarkable roles in many business environment. Data warehouse as data centers is widely used, effective use of the huge resources becomes the focus of the study subjects.In this paper, Project Management Body of Knowledge (Project Management Bode of Knowledge, referred to as PMBOK[1]) is the background of the project management description. Besides the management of the 9 major managements, software project management activities as well as the artifact on the node of the product, the author combines with the actual data information of project, uses data warehouse to store information, and develops data mining tools to find items of knowledge, the project's opinion.The author draws on enterprise resource management system (Enterprise Resource Planning, referred to as: ERP) in the BOM (Bill of Material, referred to as: BOM), Work Center and Routing to establish the concept of project management data warehouse, picks up the best project management of information resources of the organization structure from alternative solutions and finishes the establishment of project management information storage. And then, filter information from many years of accumulated items, transform and load with the representative value of data into data warehouse. Finally, complete the independence ETL tool, SSIS_DM.After the establishment of project information data warehouse, research focused on data mining algorithms into the study. Views in the text based on the opinion mining research and development of project's opinion suitable for mining algorithm, the tool accesses to software projects by calculating an artifact of the process node in the key word and its polarity, to help project extract the opinion, that is: SO-PAV algorithm (Project Artifact Valence , referred to as: SO-PAV). Among them, the comparison and choice of the feature attribute selection function are careful consideration, and verified with the fact that the experimental data. In addition, the mining engine map which is at the opening part of Chapter VI is described the working principle of mining tools in detail, as well as the correlation algorithm to determine the outcome until the prediction analysis.Taking account of the unity of the standards, norms, and scalability of the coding, this system development project related to the work of the main development tools used in the experiment are SQL SERVER 2005, .Net framework architecture of the language, the external data source from ACCESS, PROJECT, EXCEL, etc.In this study, the author combines with the intention to open a project management and data mining research. Whether it is in the shadow of the current economic crisis or the economic recovery of the future, such studies will be extremely important.
